CustodyJames Lapine’s family courtroom drama stars Viola Davis, Hayden Panettiere, and Catalina Sandino Moreno as the key players in a custody case set against the backdrop of the myriad struggles at New York Family Court. Then there’s Martha Schulman (Davis), a beleaguered family court judge struggling through a 23-year marriage to Jason (Tony Shalhoub), and finding that it might not be possible to compartmentalize work and home. Recent law school graduate Alexandra Fisher (Panettiere) is assigned to Sara’s case, and finds it brings up haunting memories of her own. Hanging over it all is the recent death of a young girl whom the system failed. "Weil du mir gehörst" (Because you are mine) is a 2019 film drama by Alexander Dierbach that focuses on the phenomenon of parent-child alienation (Parental Alienation Syndrome, PAS) after a divorce.[1] Julia Koschitz is seen in the role of a manipulative mother, Felix Klare as the father who can not oppose the alienation process, and Lisa Marie Trense as daughter Anni, whose change is noticeable.

The film premiered at Film Festival Munich on July 1, 2019, and was broadcasted on February 12, 2020, in the ARD "Das Erste" program. A DVD version was released on February 26, 2021. After their divorce, the former couple Julia and Tom are once again in court: the issue is custody of their eight-year-old daughter Anni. During the child hearing in the trial, Anni's estrangement from her father becomes obvious. How could it come to this?
